Epic Games Store has confirmed it will be giving away a different free game every week in 2020.
In a statement, Epic said: "New decade means new games and we're looking at a great start with tons of amazing titles coming exclusively to the Epic Games Store in 2020.
"To kick things off, we're extending our weekly free game program throughout 2020. Every single week, come back to claim your game. Once claimed, it's yours to keep forever."
Which Games Are Free on Epic Store Now?Currently, Sundered Eldritch Edition is free from now until January 16 at 11 a.m. ET. Then, Horace will be free through January 23.
Sundered typically sells for $19.99, and is described on the Epic website as: "A chaotic hand-drawn Metroidvania where you resist or embrace ancient eldritch powers, a challenging and unique take on a classic genre from the creators of Jotun, now with local co-op."
Horace typically sells for $14.99 and is described as: "A huge platforming adventure which pushes the boundaries of the genre with a profound story of a small robot learning of life, the universe, and Douglas Adams. Made by videogame lovers for videogame lovers."

How to Claim Free Games on Epic StoreTo claim a free game, players simply have to log in to their Epic Games Store account and click on the "get" button next to the game to download it. Once a player has downloaded the game, it is theirs to keep.
In 2019, Epic Games gave away 73 free games and players claimed more than 200 million copies of free games. The games Epic gave away scored an average of 80 percent in reviews, the company claimed.
Epic also sold $680 million worth of games to 108 million PC customers last year, and the most popular games sold included World War Z, Satisfactory Early Access, Dauntless, Untitled Goose Game, The Outer Worlds, Borderlands 3, Metro Exodus, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, and Control.
Epic Games sold exclusive games on its store and will continue to do so throughout 2020. Games arriving exclusively on the Epic Games website in 2020 include Magic: The Gathering, Predator: Hunting Grounds, Auto Chess, Rogue Company, and Godfall.
Gamers can also expect more cross-platform games arriving in the Epic Games store this year. Epic is helping developers support cross-platform gaming on PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, and Android, using the tools they developed for Fortnite.
